We are currently in the middle of our 28th mail auction, which closes December 17th, 2009 at 5:00 P.M.
It includes a carefully formed collection of Roman coins by someone with good knowledge and a concern about budget. The coins tend to be in the Very Fine to good Very Fine range, attractive, historically important and reflecting some actual use at some point in their history.
The other major section of the sale includes high quality Spence halfpenny and farthing tokens from an historic British collection, all in high grade and most scarce to rare.
We also have some interesting Greek silver, a few important gold coins and a good run of better British coins including a particularly high quality group of Irish currency copper from Charles II on to George III.
